We are very excited to announce the sixth anniversary of the Katydid Combined Driving Event! Thanks to a loyal group of competitors, volunteers, and supporters, and the continuing support of the Aiken Driving Club, this show is well on its way to becoming a first class CDE and a regular fixture on the annual carriage driving competition calendar. The show is held at Katydid Farm in Windsor and is scheduled for November 14-16.

The Katydid CDE has become very popular in the driving community and we expect another good turnout of competitors this year. But as you may know, even the top CDEs have only about 80 entries and the entry fees cover only about half of the expenses of putting on a top level show. So the show relies on contributions from its many supporters. Our sponsorship comes from a variety of individuals and businesses who want to keep alive the tradition and excitement of this unique form of equine competition.

I would like to extend a special invitation to all Aiken Driving Club members to enter the show. Once again this year we will present the Clyatt Award to the top ADC member in the Preliminary Division.

Sponsorship Packages

All of those involved would sincerely appreciate your assistance in making this event a successful show of which all of Aiken can be proud. All packages include passes to the Hospitality tent and other great incentives.
We would very much appreciate any contribution you would be willing to make, in order to make this event a success. Any funds left after paying show expenses will be donated to local charities.

Program Advertising

The Event Program is a great way to promote your business. The program will be 8” x 10.5” in size, black & white with a color cover. This year a limited number of inside color pages are available as well as the cover pages. No show can operate without a dedicated group of volunteers. If you would be willing to spend some time helping to make this event something that Aiken can be proud of, our volunteer coordinator, Joanne Goble, would be happy to hear from you.
